Agricultural Worker Health Services

FLCH ensures patients of all ages receive care.

FLCH ensures patients of all ages receive care.

Finger Lakes Community Health’s award-winning program is designed specifically to meet the unique needs of agricultural workers. The goal of the program  is to provide preventive healthcare and a means to access it when needed. That often means we bring health care services to them.

Community Health Workers are Certified Medical Interpreters and representative of the cultures they serve. They travel the Finger Lakes region searching out isolated pockets of agricultural workers, informing the farming community of the services available, and offering a variety of patient services, such as community resources, patient education, referrals, transportation, home visits, interpretation, and more.

These services ensure that patients are able to obtain the healthcare they need, including preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services.
